Duties and Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for providing office and program support services and serves as the agency’s receptionist, providing information and/or direction to visitors and callers. This position handles calendar, travel and administrative tasks for the Executive Director and provides assistance to other offices and staff, as directed/needed. This role supports the Executive Director and General Counsel with the development, distribution, monitoring, and reporting of official agency material such as mail ballots, Resolutions and materials for Commission meetings and events, collaborating to ensure accurate distribution and retention of official policy documents. Incumbent also assists with event coordination for Commission events, meetings, conferences, and seminars.


Requirements & Qualifications

This position requires demonstrated experience with administrative support including travel logistics, planning & organizing, project administration, and effective prioritization. The role requires the ability to multi-task and follow through on a variety of activities such as meeting coordination, travel logistics, expense reports, and event coordination. The incumbent must have proficiency with Microsoft Office, database applications, and office technology.


Competencies required include adaptability, effective communication (verbal and written), strong collaboration, analytical ability, and accountability.

·       Ability to travel (10-20%)
