Our small state senate government office is looking for a dedicated Receptionist to handle answering phone calls, greeting neighbors who visit the office, doing initial intake of concerns and problems of those who visit as well as general office operations tasks. When our neighbors walk into or call our office, we want them to find and hear a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but high school diploma accepted with some college or equivalent experience
2+ years experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant
Knowledge of Outlook
Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
Sensitive to concerns of others
Believes in teamwork
Overachieving attitude and enhanced work ethic
