JOB SUMMARY:

Wrap Around with Intensive Services (WISe) is a unique service aimed at supporting medicaid eligible children, youth, and families with intensive mental health care. WISe is a strength-based and trauma informed program that incorporates community, natural, educational, and professional supports for families experiencing mental health crisis or concerns. Clinicians work flexible schedules, based on their client’s family's needs, which may include working evenings and weekends. This unique way of working allows Clinicians the opportunity to offer a high level of collaboration, coordination and intensive behavior health services with each other and our care partners.

The WISe therapist will also participate in the Mobile Crisis Team on-call rotation. Comp time/overtime is provided as appropriate.

Qualifications

● A Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent, accredited degree; prefer 1+ years' experience serving children and/or families (mental health, social services, education, etc.).

● Demonstrate the necessary attitudes, knowledge, and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.

● Ability to drive to client’s homes within the community; we provide a company car during work hours. You must have a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record per county policy.

● Ability to visually assess safety within family homes.

● Support and uphold the mission, beliefs and values of Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services.

● Knowledge of Wraparound principles and practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Mental Health Professional (as defined by WAC 246-341-0200).

• Highly competitive compensation package with a starting wage of $4321.99/Monthly Salary - DOE + overtime compensation for on call and afterhours crisis work.

• Flexible schedule

• Licensure Fees, Licensure Supervision and trainings registrations are covered by us.

• Small Case Loads - Due to WISe’s intensive model, clinicians are expected to keep a case load of under 20 clients.

• A warm collaborative team and supportive supervisors. Because we are such a small team, we look out for each other and do our best to support each other to help meet our personal and team goals.

• Medical, dental, & vision insurance, and retirement plans; including participation in the Washington State Public Employees Retirement System, and insurance covered under a composite rate structure (the same rate for a single person or a family of multiple people).

• Accrual of Sick and Vacation Leave as well as 2 floating holidays and 10.5 paid holidays (all major holidays including the day after Thanksgiving and half of Christmas Eve)

• Extensive training (examples: De-Escalation, Safety, WISe, BRS, CPR & First Aid, Suicide Assessment and Prevention, Trauma-focused CBT, and First Response).

• Representation and Benefits related to AFSCME Union Membership Local #1557

• We are an approved Washington Health Corps site for student loan repayment opportunities.
