As a full-time AmeriCorps Member with VM you receive a modest living stipend, $5,920 education award, and opportunities to network with professionals in non-profits, government agencies, and schools. This is a one year position with Volunteer Maryland. Benefits also include professional development training, health care and making a real difference in your community!

Service areas can include youth, elderly, disabled, homeless, etc. in areas like hunger, health and the environment. Do you have a passion to address critical community needs?


Volunteer Maryland builds stronger, healthier communities by developing volunteer programs with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools. The program’s vision is that all Marylanders will participate in and value service as a way of life to enrich and empower community, society, and self.

Benefits

AmeriCorps Member receives living stipend bi-weekly. Education award of $5,920 is given after completion of service. Health care is available if uninsured, child care voucher. Professional development training and networking opportunities.
