Position Description: 

Under the general direction of the College Program Director, the Member Experience Manager will support implementing strategy to bring a cohesive experience to service fellows across programs, develop next generation of civic leaders, and build a connection to California Volunteers.   

Duties: 

·        Create and manage a shared member experience delivered each year.   

·        Coordinate with the AmeriCorps learning and development specialist to implement career workshops and networking sessions hosted by California Volunteers throughout the year. 

·        Create a statewide social calendar of events hosted by California Volunteers for active fellows and alumni fellows to engage in throughout the year. 

·        Create a California Volunteers AmeriCorps/Fellow alumni page, after each service year on social platforms, for volunteers to engage with California Volunteers and each other 

·        Coordinate with the Communications team and Email Manager to create fellow-specific social media campaigns to engage active members and alumni throughout the year 

·        Coordinate, distribute, collect and analyze fellow surveys 

·        Use fellow survey findings to impact strategy 

·        Track fellow alumni data, regarding employment after service and career and contact information, in Salesforce

·        Extensive experience in community engagement 

·        Experience with service programs 

·        Experience creating project timelines and objectives 

·        Experience working under tight deadlines balancing multiple priorities. 

·        Outstanding interpersonal skills 

·        Ability to work effectively in a dedicated, mission and team-oriented office environment  

·        Mission-driven, highly organized, creative, and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while being able to work under short deadlines, and deliver in a rapidly changing, fast-paced office environment 

·        Experience using Salesforce to track and manage partners, create dashboards, and track volunteer onboarding 

·        Ability to learn and apply new skills 

·        Ability to provide feedback and follow up on tasks 

·        Knows when to act independently and when to consult for advice on decision-making 

·        Ability to work extended hours, when necessary 

·        Bachelor’s Degree
