Program Specialists provide outreach, information, assistance, and options/benefits counseling on the services, products, and/or resources available to clients who face challenges related to aging and/or disabilities and their families, through social service agencies, medical providers, and community partners. Functions include screening and assessing to identify needs, making referrals and/or authorizing appropriate resources and services, providing ongoing education, consultation and general assistance to clients and family caregivers that is client driven and solution focused.
NWRC is seeking to fill 3 FTE positions; one each to be sited in the Bellingham (Whatcom County) and Mount Vernon (Skagit County) offices and one to work out of both offices. These are project positions subject to availability of continued grant funding. Currently, funding is anticipated to continue through December 2021.
