This is a unique opportunity to align a training program in support of the Park District's values of accountability, inclusivity, equity, and fairness. The Training Manager works with a small team to support the development and retention of well-trained, dedicated and productive employees and reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, facilitator, and collaborator who sets the Park District apart as an employer of choice. Professional experience designing and delivering training content, the ability to analyze workforce needs, and a creative approach to workforce planning are essential. A skillful program planner, the Training Manager uses an overall training strategy to coach, inspire, and mentor employees to achieve the organization's goals.
