Frederick County Department of Aging

The mission of the Frederick County Department of Aging is to develop and administer programs and activities that support Frederick County older adults and adults with disabilities in their efforts to remain healthy, active, and independent members of the community, and to provide, coordinate, advocate for services that promote dignity and enrichment of life for all older adults, their families, and caregivers.

We offer our clients compassion and understanding while offering them guidance in determining the services they need, and providing them with the resources to gain those services. We provide our clients with a variety of programs and activities at our local senior centers, housing assistance, Medicaid counseling, Meals on Wheels, and more.
