Our Program

Northwestern's Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Policy program prepares dynamic leaders for careers in higher education.

The Higher Education Administration and Policy Program will prepare you as a reflective and dynamic leader in higher education — for colleges and universities, governmental agencies and consulting firms in postsecondary education. Pursue career fields such as student affairs, admissions, community relations, policy analysis, alumni relations and development, policy and institutional analysis, athletics administration and change management.

Additional Requirements

We do not have a formal % of applicants that we accept. Instead, we focus on a holistic review of each applicant's academic background, test scores, work experience, references, essays, and leadership.

Application Deadline

Upcoming Deadline: January, 8 2019 for students starting full time Summer or Fall 2020 AND who want to be competitive for scholarships and internships.
