Our Program
The School of Health Sciences and Practice (SHSP) at New York Medical College shares a beautiful, suburban campus, 16 miles from New York City, with the School of Medicine, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Westchester Medical Center, and the Touro College of Dental Medicine. New York Medical College has a long history of involvement in the social and environmental determinants of health and disease, and special concern for the poor, powerless and helpless since 1860. SHSP offers an online Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management, Environmental Health Science, Behavioral Science and Health Promotion, and Epidemiology as well as Doctor of Public Health in Health Policy and Management as advanced certificate such as global health and health education. SHSP is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (www.ceph.org).
