Our Program

The Conflict Resolution Program at Georgetown University offers students a balanced training in academic theory and skills in sixteen months.

The Georgetown M.A. in Conflict Resolution prepares students to resolve conflict in a turbulent world. The world-class program includes a theoretically rigorous core curriculum, skills taught by top practitioners with a focus on negotiation, mediation and facilitation, and an experiential learning series.

Core courses explore the nature of conflict and how peace is made, built and sustained. The flexible curriculum allows students to focus on integrating conflict resolution skills into a variety of sectors. Building on Georgetown’s commitment to social justice, the program supports our students’ focus at local, national, and global levels.
