What Our Students Say
I chose CCT because I wanted to make sense of all my interests. I was a tinkerer who dabbled with code, had an affinity for brand strategy and loved to write. CCT helped me turn my many interests into a focus and eventually a career.
Deron Hogans, M.A. Communication, Culture & Technology ‘12CCT stood out to me because the other programs I was looking at seemed to focus on the relationship between media–TV and film specifically–and culture, whereas CCT has much more emphasis on the relationship between technology and society. Given my interest in tech policy, studying in the heart of D.C. just made sense!
Mihika Sapru, M.A. Communication, Culture & Technology ‘19CCT serves as a collaborative environment where instead of competing with each other, we network to help one another achieve academic and professional goals. Because CCT is an interdisciplinary Master's degree program, everyone is pursuing something different and tailored to their specific interests.
Remel Hoskins, M.A. Communication, Culture & Technology ‘19
