Clubs & Associations

From American Football to Ultimate Frisbee, there's sports clubs to suit all interests and abilities at NTU. Whether you want to try something new or continue with an activity you’ve been doing for years, joining a sports club is the perfect way to make friends, keep fit and have fun. Many of NTU’s sports teams compete against other universities in the British Universities and College Sport (BUCS) League through the season.  More than 4800 teams take part in over 100 championship events each year.

As well as sports clubs we also have over 100 different societies that you can join at NTU. Societies are groups set up by students who are interested in doing certain activities outside of their studies. The societies are run by the Students’ Union and they're a great way of meeting like-minded people and having fun! There are plenty of societies to choose from; we have everything from faith-based to academic, political to activity-based groups.
