An excellent research conducted in an atmosphere of mutual respect and inclusion.

Situated on the top of the Mount Carmel with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, and nestled beside the Carmel National Forest, the University of Haifa provides an ideal setting for your International Graduate Studies experience.

Our faculty and student population is unique in its composition.  We host an exciting and inspiring cultural mosaic of secular and religious Jews, Christian and Muslim Arabs, Druze Bedouins and Circassians, new immigrants, native Israelis and a growing number of international students and staff. A microcosm of Israeli society, the University of Haifa is the most pluralistic institution of higher learning in Israel and serves as an example of how excellent research and teaching are conducted in an atmosphere of mutual respect and inclusion.

Join one of our 18 International English-language Master’s programs in a variety of disciplines. Here you will discover new interests and people, expand your knowledge base, and explore new cultures in an atmosphere of coexistence, tolerance and mutual respect. Here you can be who you want to be!

What Our Students Say

  • "I am grateful beyond words for the opportunity to study at this institution and alongside such kind, passionate and helpful peers and professors. What I have found to value most is the diversity surrounding this program, which can be seen in our course listings, our wide range of research interests, and backgrounds. Every student brings something different to the table."

Hana Green, The Weiss-Livnat International MA Program in Holocaust Studies ‘17
  • "There are only a few schools in the world that offer programs in marine archaeology and Haifa appealed to me because it was so interdisciplinary... The program is even better than I imagined. I constantly get to participate in excavations – including underwater ones. The best part about studying archaeology in Israel is that you’re living among the very sites you study."

Nicole Constantine, International MA in Maritime Civilizations ‘17
  • "My degree is going to help me with my future plans because it is very interdisciplinary. It's going to help me to get exactly where I want to go, it's going to help me and challenge me to be a better professional in the academic world."

Alex Gorman, MA in Peace and Conflict Management ‘18
