What Our Students Say

  • My favorite thing about the education at JHU SOE is that there is authenticity and honesty in everything that we learn. Not only do the professors genuinely want us to learn, but they take into account the fact that most of us are full-time working professionals and help us integrate that into how we learn. I couldn’t ask for a better program to challenge my thoughts and growth.

Kara Seidel, Master of Science in Education- Educational Studies ‘19
  • My professors came from diverse backgrounds and I wanted to take advantage of every opportunity to be in the presence of some of the best researchers/clinicians in the world. Now when I practice my skills in the real world, I feel like I am channeling the lessons and skills of different teachers, and that is the beauty of learning in a collaborative way.

Neha Aamir, Master of Science in Counseling- Clinical Mental Health Counseling ‘19
  • As an inspiring teacher, I wanted to continue developing students and myself holistically in order to provide every child with an education they deserve. I knew that the JHU SOE program would provide me the proper resources and allow me to implement strategies through their connection with Baltimore City Public Schools.

Zena Ko, Master of Arts in Teaching- Elementary ‘18
