Our Program

Our Public Health Programs foster new ideas and effective practice through innovative academics, close-knit community, and data-driven research.

The mission of the Public Health Programs at Tufts University School of Medicine is to prepare graduates for careers in public health practice through which they will advance societal and environmental conditions that allow all members of society to enjoy the highest attainable standard of health.

Ranked in the Top 25 Public Health programs by US News and World Report, our CEPH-accredited Master of Public Health program is offered in multiple flexible formats to support all kinds of learners.

On-Campus Master of Public Health (MPH)

Concentrations Offered: Behavioral Science and Health Communication; Epidemiology and Biostatistics; Health Services, Management, and Policy; Nutrition

Study Rate Options: Full-time (16-24 months to complete), part-time (maximum 5 years), or accelerated (12 months to complete).

Application Process: Submit a complete and verified application through SOPHAS. GRE scores optional.

Online Master of Public Health (MPH)

Concentration Offered: Epidemiology & Biostatistics

Study Rate Options: Full-time (20 months to complete) or part-time (maximum 5 years).

Application Process: Submit an application through our Online Public Health Programs application. GRE scores optional.

Online MS in Health Informatics and Analytics

Concentrations Offered: Informatics; Analytics

Study Rate Options: Full-time (20 months to complete) or part-time (maximum 5 years).
