Details at a Glance
At New York University, we are public health pioneers. Our students acquire the critical thinking skills, technical acumen and entrepreneurial opportunities needed to make an impact on the world’s most urgent public health crises. From fighting malnutrition in Madagascar and combating the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Ukraine, to researching the Zika virus and taking on Big Tobacco, Big Food and Big Pharma―our students are making ground-breaking impacts in the public health world.
We are reinventing the public health paradigm by using innovation where tradition might have been acceptable in the past; to encompass expert knowledge from across eight NYU schools when a one-sided approach could suffice for others; to consider challenges from all over the world instead of those just in our backyard of New York City.
