Claremont Graduate University was founded in 1925 as the graduate institution of the Claremont Colleges. CGU specializes in liberal arts graduate only education and learning. CGU takes a unique transdisciplinary approach to learning wherein we believe students should go beyond their academic discipline to learn the answers to their questions. We believe in the power of education and we believe students can find the answers to their questions through a variety of schools and programs.
