NYU Steinhardt's integration of education, communication, health, and the arts puts us at the heart of a movement: education for social change.

The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, one of the largest graduate schools at New York University, offers a diverse range of master's, certificate, and doctoral programs in education, the arts, health, and media studies.

Join our inclusive, impact-driven community as you prepare for a meaningful professional career through on-campus, online, or hybrid study.

For more than a century, we’ve been building partnerships in our community: with schools, community agencies, arts organizations, cultural institutions, and healthcare facilities. A Steinhardt education includes rigorous classroom study as well as internships, clinical placements, student teaching, or applied research. You'll have unrivaled opportunities for professional training and career advancement in New York City and beyond.

Our faculty and alumni are artists, scholars, media experts, educators, performers, nutritionists, therapists, and others who are working at the cutting edge of practice and conducting groundbreaking research.
