About Us

Aid for orphans, poor and disabled persons is a mutual aid group run by Opportunities for Education and Youths Empowerment Program Uganda (OPEYEP Uganda), a registered community based organization in Uganda under the number: NMC/CBO/139/20. The primary purpose for this group is to help orphans, poor and disabled persons to access the basic needs in life in order to improve their standard of living. This is based on the reason that such kind of people were far left behind because of their status and many of them are much discriminated in the society which makes them difficult to live a better life. Therefore our major focus is to ensure that all orphans, poor and disabled persons in Uganda receive justice in accessing and sharing resources which is essential in promoting the way the world tackles poverty, injustice and mistreatments of these people in the society.
