Summary:
The VP of Development will report directly to the Chief Development Officer. AS the VP of Development you will manage a portfolio of donors and contribute to the strategic and creative direction of development activity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the portfolio of major donors and organizations giving societies
- Created and implements tailored stewardship strategies to increase individual contributions and advanced prospect management and analysis systems
- Analyzes data to evaluate major gifts and annual giving strategies and goal tracking to identify areas for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with departmental team members to identify new giving opportunities
- Support best practices and policies for volunteers and workflow management
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in direct fundraising and strategy
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or related
- CFRE certification or equivalent, preferred
