The Dartmouth Development for Greater New York team team seeks an experienced Office Manager to support our regional office in New York City. A key member of our team, you will contribute to donor-focused activities through interactions with Donor Relations Officers, our Development Research team, and other team members within our New York office and the central Advancement team in New Hampshire, to cultivate and support prospect relationships and management. Partnering closely with field officers, you will coordinate comprehensive travel arrangements and itineraries, as well as prepare briefing materials and special reports through extensive research and data extraction. Event coordination in this role includes assisting with organizing occasional special events, including coordination of invitation processes and logistics with others in our regional office and throughout central Advancement. Office management includes managing our team budgets, purchasing supplies, serving as a liaison to our vendors and the building management office, and in general, making our office hum like a well-oiled machine.
Our successful candidate will be well-organized, exercise good judgment, possess excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, have a high level of initiative, and the ability to remain flexible in a changing work environment. A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required; some database experience would be helpful. Experience with budget management or accounting is a plus.
