Since launching in 2017, our online program has reached more than 45,000 people in more than 900 classrooms, as well as 100+ organizations and companies, across more than 15 countries.

About the Role

We are looking for our first Director of Learning Solutions — an exceptional writer and adult learning expert who loves translating behavioral science into memorable learning experiences. You will lead the creation of transformational learning experiences that help our learners develop long-term habits to communicate and collaborate constructively across differences.

In this role, you will manage the production of our digital learning solutions and live training for corporate and higher ed audiences. You will be responsible for hiring and leading our content team, serving as a player-coach who contributes to and manages the team’s projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the content strategy and development of OpenMind's digital and live learning solutions
• Create the tone of voice and other standards, style guides, and templates
• Keep up-to-date with trends and research in social psychology, conflict resolution, and behavior change design, and continuously incorporate into our content as appropriate
• Build and lead a team of internal and contract learning experience designers
• Collaborate with the Product and Research teams to deliver and measure our learning solutions

Job requirements

Qualifications

• At least 5 years producing adult learning experiences that drive behavior change
• A passion for making a difference through psychology, and working experience with behavioral science, organizational culture change, and/or conflict resolution
• Outstanding conversational writing skills, with a flair for delivering complex ideas in memorable, straightforward prose
• Developed content for multiple formats, including interactive applications, live facilitation, and video
• Experience leading exceptional teams and projects
