Quinnipiac University invites applications for a Program Coordinator for Faculty-Led Courses Abroad. Reporting to the Director of Global Learning, you will serve as the main liaison between the Department of Cultural and Global Engagement (DCGE) and faculty members/academic units in supporting all aspects of faculty-led courses abroad. This is a part-time, 25 hour per week, benefits-eligible grant-funded position at $37,000.

Responsibilities: With the support of the Director of Global Learning, serve as the main campus liaison for faculty-led programs for all schools/colleges
Engage in outreach throughout the academic year to develop new partnerships and building on current relationships. Outreach includes monthly information sessions for faculty, reaching out and collaborating with department chairs, associate deans, and deans to generate interest in developing faculty-led programs
Assist faculty in developing and maintaining faculty-led programs, including program development, administration, and evaluation, conducting training workshops and pre-departure/re-entry of faculty and students, and working with third parties to provide logistical support when appropriate
Oversee faculty preparing budgets, itineraries, and minimizing health and safety risks to program participants
Utilizing the Terra Dotta software to build a robust online platform that can be utilized by all global education programs and manage the student application process for faculty-led programs
Serve on the faculty-led course selection committee to assess/approve faculty-led course proposals
Facilitate virtual and on-ground information sessions for students to promote faculty-led programs
Hold bi-weekly office hours for student advising
Develop and maintain excellent communication and working relationships with administrative units on campus including Student Life, Registrar's Office, Financial Aid, Development and Alumni Affairs, and One Stop as well as all academic units
Oversee budgets and payments to all partners and providers for programs
Performing other duties as assignment
Some nights, weekends, and travel may be required
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
2-3 years of substantive international experience, either as study-abroad and/or living and working abroad
Knowledge of current issues related to international study or ability to grasp concepts quickly
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work nights and weekends
Ability to travel
Prior experience preparing budgets
Experience managing complex programs and resources
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to learn new technology quickly
Advising experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
