We are currently in search of a Administrative Assistant for an Healthcare Association. The position is based in Alexandria, VA. This is a full-time, temporary assignment.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: Healthcare Association
LOCATION: Alexandria, VA
POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant
DURATION: Approx. 2 months
SCHEDULE: Full-time (40 hours/week)
HOURLY PAY: $14.75 - $19.00/hour
Is This Your Dream Job? The ideal candidate will organize and coordinate special programs. The candidate will provide administrative and program support to the specific program. The candidate will also maintain records for the project. The candidate will coordinate and schedule volunteer meetings, as well as report to the staff on volunteer requests. The candidate will also support the volunteer recognition program. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, communicate effectively orally and in writing. The candidate should also have great customer service, organization, and time management skills. This candidate will report to the Director of Membership and Mentorship.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· 3+years of progressive administrative experience
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred
· MS Office Suite background
· Experience with Adobe suite
· Background with an AMS database
· Communications and customer service skills
· Interpersonal and time management skills
· Background working with nonprofits
How You Will Spend Your Day:
· Coordinate programs and volunteer meetings
· Provide administrative support for programs
· Additional duties as assigned
