Job Details:

This position will support the implementation and administration of the MySafeRx remote medication adherence monitoring platform as part of an innovative treatment program for opioid use disorder among women who recently gave birth (within past year) or have young children. The MySafeRx platform is a novel method of remotely supervising self-administration of controlled medications, such as buprenorphine, for individuals with opioid use disorder by integrating several mobile technologies. The position will support recruitment of patients to the MySafeRx for Moms program located in and around Boston's Metro North region by engaging with mothers and their clinicians at women's health clinics, postpartum maternity units, and various opioid treatment programs in the area. The half-time (0.5 FTE) position will be based at Cambridge Health Alliance's Central Street Care Center in Somerville, MA. The position requires someone who is available to be onsite Monday through Friday, and may be held in conjunction with another position at CHA. *This position is grant-funded through an award from RIZE Massachusetts. We anticipate a two-year funding cycle will begin July 1. This will be a temporary, part-time (0.5 FTE or less) position until CHA officially secures the two-year award.

Job Duties:

Patient Recruitment: Recruit and schedule participants for screening, interviews and completion of program consent and quality measures. Ensure that patient concerns and questions are addressed in a timely and compassionate manner. Support participating practices in Boston's Metro-North region. Coordinate preparation of materials for submission to as well as correspondence with program participants. Explain the nature of the program to participants and clinical staff. Organize correspondence with study participants.

Program Administration: Coordinate with local pharmacy as needed. Participate in weekly videoconferencing supervision and team meetings. Provide assistance to the Project Coordinator with materials and document development and help with coverage of Project Coordinator tasks when requested. Interacts with internal and external parties including physicians, nurses, clinical staff, and vendors. Prepares reports, presentations, and correspondence using Adobe, Microsoft Office and Google G Suite applications. Contributes to continuous improvement of MySafeRx for Moms processes and administrative systems. Execute extra assignments as requested by MySafeRx for Moms PI. Understand the project design and requirements. Help the MySafeRx for Moms team plan and manage administrative meetings with internal and external partners/collaborators. Other Provides assistance to Project Coordinator with technology troubleshooting. Helps with coverage of Project Coordinator tasks when requested by PI. Available Monday through Friday to be onsite, and share weekend coverage with other team members for remote coaching and technical troubleshooting. Address local technical, safety, or participant issues when needed. Execute extra assignments as requested by Project Director. Attend related meetings, events, and trainings.

Experience: Prior project management experience preferred Research or clinical experience preferred Experience with patients of opioid use disorder or substance use disorder treatment preferred

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; degree in health or social sciences, pre-med, medicine, engineering, or related field
