The New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) is a growing and successful nonprofit whose mission is to accelerate cures through stem cell research.

NYSCF seeks an organized, detail-oriented professional to join its Event Marketing team in a high-tech, cutting-edge life science environment. You will be working with a team to plan, market, and execute strategic events that support NYSCF's overall mission. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work alongside internal and external colleagues to execute successful events and marketing initiatives in a fast-paced role.

What you'll do:

  • Manage select event logistics, including RSVP tracking, coordination of speakers, agendas, venue research, venue liaison, packing/unpacking for events, and other tasks as needed
  • Independently lead the logistical and creative management of select organizational events
  • Assist with on-site event logistics (limited evening availability required)
  • Perform post-event analysis reports, including attendee demographics, registration breakdown, and financial information
  • Tackle special assignments and immediate-need projects as they arise (i.e., external conferences, internal events & meetings, etc.)
  • Assist in the development and execution of event marketing campaigns (email and online) to successfully drive registration, attendance, and awareness
  • Build and maintain advertising and promotional plans for events
  • Team lead on data entry for organization's database (Raiser's Edge NXT)
  • Provide valuable creative input and vision to team processes
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, invoicing, expense reports, etc.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work across all internal teams
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects at once in a detail-oriented, fast-paced role
  • Proven track record in full event life cycle, especially within a small team environment
  • Experience in event marketing, including email and online marketing
  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Technology marketing background a plus (Hubspot, Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Ads)
  • Experience with relationship databases, specifically Raiser's Edge NXT, a plus
  • The title will be commensurate with experience

We offer all full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package that goes into effect on the first of the month following your start date.
