Project Associate

We are currently seeking a Project Associate for our client, a public health and higher education association. This position will be working within their Education and Policy department, an interest in research, policy, education and/or health is highly desired.

This is an immediate need and a temporary to hire opportunity. This is will begin as a remote position due to COVID-19, but will return to a Washington DC office once it is safe to go back to in office work.

Responsibilities 

• Assist with coordinating facilitated events.  
• Monitor budgets and provide monthly and quarterly reports.
• Coordinate with project leads the dissemination of member surveys and the organization of focus groups to identify the use and improvements of products. 
• Maintain a current and accurate calendar of company wide events and programs and events including submission and other deadlines. Proactively communicate upcoming deadlines to staff and monitor submissions to ensure timely completion. 
• Assist in on-boarding staff, interns, and scholars. 
• Coordinate travel for staff, fellows, scholars, speakers and members as needed.   
• Assist with research of assigned topics, conduct literature searches, and support the development of short surveys in Qualtrics or other survey platforms. 
• Coordinate dissemination of research results.  
• Develop presentations using PowerPoint, Prezi and/or Infogram on assigned topics.  
• Proofread publications and presentations. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of full-time project management and/or research experience. 
• Association, non-profit and/or higher education experience is preferred.
