Upstate Medical University is looking for an experienced Administrator to lead the dynamic clinical and business professionals at the Joslin Diabetes Center and the Clinical Research Unit.
The Administrator is responsible for the overall business/clinical functions and staff at these two outpatient offices and has responsibility for overall operations that include maintaining operational efficiency, leading program/business development, staff recruitment, budget development, financial management, service and marketing promotion, and quality improvement. The Administrator establishes and monitors administrative policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective clinical and fiscal operations and oversees the fulfillment of regulatory mandates.
The Administrator, in collaboration with physicians and nurse leaders, is responsible for guiding their assigned ambulatory care areas to deliever high quality and patient focused services.

NYS licensed/registered RN, Bachelors degree in Nursing and a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in an administrative/supervisory capacity; or a Master's degree in Nursing and at least 3 years progressive experience in an administrative/supervisory capacity required. Exceptional analytical, communication, and advanced PC skills desired. Preferred experience in physician practice management, diabetes/endocrinology and business/strategy development.
