High Point University (HPU) seeks a development professional whose values and purpose align with those at HPU and who desires to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward planned and leadership gift benefactors for the highest priorities of High Point University. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in development/fundraising, banking, finance, wealth management, or estate planning; a high degree of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; and, will be goals and outcomes oriented with excellent relationship building skills. The Gift Planning Manager will work under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President for Development.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required for this position as is a minimum of three years of gift planning experience with a demonstrable record of progressive achievement. In-depth knowledge of planned giving and its complexities is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Crescendo.
