Our Vision: To make New York City the global model for inclusive innovation and economic growth, fueled by the City's diverse people and businesses.

Our Mission:
To create shared prosperity across New York City's five boroughs by strengthening neighborhoods and growing good jobs.

Women.NYC is a citywide initiative focused on empowering women across the five boroughs by providing them with the tools they need to succeed. The initiative engages with more than 100+ New York City resources targeted to women.

Resources on the site include mentoring for women by women, funding and revenue opportunities for women-led businesses, paid sick leave, information about the City's ban on employers asking your salary history during a job interview, and universal Pre-K and 3-K programs.

Women.NYC also serves as a vehicle to promote new strategic partnerships with non-profit, institutional and corporate players in the city who are actively engaged in this fight.

Your Role: The Women.NYC Executive Director (the Director) will serve as the City of New York's first principal coordinator for the Women.NYC initiative, reporting to the Senior Vice President for Partnerships at the Economic Development Corporation (EDC).

  • Oversee routine maintenance and new developments on the Women.NYC website
  • Perform related duties and other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
