Executive Director

Seeking a seasoned Executive Director with proven leadership in the area of Early Childhood Education. Must have experience working with an active Board of Directors and the overall administration of the early childhood educational programs & staff. A professional with experience in fundraising, financial management, policy development and business operations.

This leadership position requires strategic business skills and the ability to create a vision forward for the non-profit organization with a previously demonstrated success leading a diverse early childhood education center with effective results working with parents, teachers and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead a Board of Directors in developing constructive board relations that will result in a cohesive environment.

This well established non-profit is seeking an Executive Director that has previously demonstrated the skills to problem-solve, plan and coordinate with a diverse population. Knowledge of Head Start and Florida preschool performance standards as well as best practices in early childhood development are required.

A Bachelor's degree is required with specialization in child development, reading or special needs. The candidate must hold a Florida Department of Children & Families Director's Credential and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Director Endorsement. A valid Florida driver's license is required and the candidate must be or become a Florida resident and pass background security check.
