The Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer

  • Designs & develops software solutions that meet needs defined in the user story & acceptance criteria.
  • Completes development of all assigned tasks on time to achieve a sprint goal.
  • Reviews, provides feedback & approves pull requests from other team members
  • Coaches & Mentors junior developers on using clean coding techniques.
  • Participates in grooming session to provide point estimates on user stories, epic based on complexity, volume (amount of change) & risk/uncertainty.
  • Designs software components required one sprint prior to development.
  • Participates in sprint planning to create and estimate tasks to complete the user story.
  • Deploys software to Development, QA, UAT and Production environments.
  • Reviews UI/UX designs produced by BA or UI/UX designer and provide feedback on the design.
  • Writes unit tests prior to beginning development.
  • Develops documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Creates SQL Scripts ahead of deployments.
  • Create deployment plans for releases.
  • Continuously learn new technologies & languages.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related fields
  • 7 + years of .NET software development experience in creating full stack web-based solutions.
  • Experience creating software solutions using C#, HTML/HTML 5. CSS, JavaScript, Angular 2+ & SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of OOP and software design patterns
  • Experience using with Dependency Injection.
  • Five plus years of experience creating web applications using HTML or HTML5
  • Experience in creating and consuming REST APIs and micro-services on .net platform
  • Ability to recognize & use GO4 & other industry standard OO design patterns
  • Experience writing readable code using clean coding techniques required.
  • Proficient in writing SQL server queries, stored procedures, and query optimization.
  • Four plus years of experience using SQL Server to perform following
  • Write stored procedures and scripts
  • Write database triggers and views
  • Experience working with Git to create feature branches, merge branches, resolve merge conflicts required.
  • Experience in designing, developing, debugging & maintaining one or more multi-threaded solutions
  • Experience with using Entity Framework, LINQ & ASP.NET MVC
  • Test Driven Development, mocking frameworks, IoC, dependency injection
  • Front end development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and a responsive
  • Experience implementing or utilizing CI/CD practices working with DevOps.
  • Experience working in a scrum development team a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience unit testing web pages using Karma & Jasmine desired.
  • Experience in applying domain driven design principles a big plus.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development
  • Cloud Exposure, Azure preferred
  • Experience using Azure appliances specifically Cosmos, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory and Azure Storage a plus
  • Experience or ability to assist the product owners in writing user stories a plus.
  • Ability to design conceptual, logical, and physical models a plus
  • Experience in working with Postman
