California State University San Marcos seeks an Administrative Analyst/Specialist Exempt I (Student Equity Specialist) for their Title IX/Student Equity department. Under general direction of the Student Equity and Compliance Manager, the Student Equity Specialist is responsible for implementing significant aspects of university compliance with California State University (CSU) Executive Orders regarding Systemwide Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence and Stalking Policy (subsequently referred to as Title IX), and Systemwide Policy (and Procedures) Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation (collectively referred to DHR), Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking. The Student Equity Specialist will administer student and employee education and prevention programs; administer online and print materials providing notice of rights, options and support resources to the university community; and coordinate communication and record keeping for interactions with members of the campus community who express a Title IX/DHR concern. In partnership with the Student Equity and Compliance Manager (Investigator) the incumbent will coordinate complaint investigations including, but not limited to, communications with parties and witnesses; documentation of all aspects of investigations including witness summaries and preliminary analysis of facts to be included in final investigation reports; and administration of print and electronic records retention as directed by CSU or university policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications include:
At least 2-4 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified in the position description
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year for year basics

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in related field
Experience in student conduct or an office of discrimination and harassment is highly preferred
Experience working with college students
Professional experience administering investigations
Knowledge of complexities surrounding investigations in a college setting
Experience supporting investigations of interpersonal violence
Title IX Investigator training

Salary and Position Status:
Full-time probationary position with benefits ending
Salary Range: $3,897 - $6,846/month
Anticipated hiring salary range: $3,897 - $4,500/month
