Description

Our client, an association in DC has an immediate opening for a contract, Marketing Manager, specializing in digital communications for their annual meeting. This is a contract position that will start at the beginning of November, and run through the end of March 2019. 


We are seeking someone with experience developing both digital and print marketing materials with strong writing and editing skills. This person will:

*Develop digital content for website, social media and email including graphics and infographics

*Create and edit content for website html and graphic emails, digital and print advertisements, fliers and brochures

*Write content for newsletter articles, press releases, memos and other print and digital communications

*Generate marketing timelines, track projects and reports on efforts and outcomes

*Create and deploy html emails to target audiences

*Creates other promotional items


Requirements:

*5 years of marketing, communications or publishing experience working on both print and digital 

*Bachelor's degree in either communications, marketing or liberal arts

*Knowledge of AP syle is preffered

*MS office, Adobe Creative Suite and social media proficiency

*Basic HTML and CSS

*Previous association experience strongly preferred and experience with email marketing platforms


Located close to metro. Hours are 9-5 with occasional dates where you may need to work past 5. Work must be done on-site.
