The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks an Advancement Associate – Western Region to provide excellent customer service to Entertainment Community Fund donors (called “members”) and prospective donors across the Western Region of the U.S. The Associate will process donations, fulfill house seat requests for regional donors, and support the Director of Advancement, Western Region with major donor stewardship and cultivation, including meetings, tours and special events. The Advancement Associate – Western Region will also assist with acknowledgments, participate in strategic planning, represent the organization at special events, and provide general administrative support for the Fund’s fundraising efforts in the Western Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the Supervision of the Director of Advancement - Western Region, the Advancement Associate – Western Region will process donations from Western Region donors over the phone, provide concierge ticket services to Entertainment Community Fund members who live in the Western Region; maintain donor records in Raiser’s Edge and AudienceView; and assist the Individual Giving team in renewing lapsed memberships. In addition, the Advancement Associate-Western Region will assist with Los Angeles donor events and cultivation activities; research funding prospects in the Western Region; assist in creating proposals, decks and correspondence; participate in strategic planning; engage with the Western Council advisory board; and provide general administrative support for the Western Region Advancement efforts.

This is a full-time salaried or hourly position based in the Entertainment Community Fund’s Western Region offices in Mid-Wilshire Los Angeles.
