Duties & Responsibilities
The Research Specialist will coordinate, administer, organize, facilitate, and support research of the Access to Justice Lab, particularly 2-3 projects already in the field. This individual will be responsible for maintaining contact with study participants, organizing mass mailings and coding data for ongoing projects. In conjunction with the Lab's Business Manager, will organize the work of student temps. Will construct and adhere to schedules of operations for ongoing projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
College background and one year of related work experience. Relevant coursework may count toward experience.
Additional Qualifications
College degree preferred. Prior experience in project management and organization, preferably with access to justice, with a strong preference for prior work with multiple court systems that involved interfacing with both court administrators and potential court users. A successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and writing skills as well as strong cooperation, motivation and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with individuals unfamiliar with the court system. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, required. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information is also required.
Additional Information
This is a term appointment currently expected to extend to June 30, 2019, subject to funding and departmental need.
