In service of this vision, we advocate for early education and care policy reform and implement innovative, scalable solutions that address the biggest challenges facing early education and care providers and the families who rely on them.

The Manager of Workforce Recruitment, reporting to the Director of Workforce Development, will be responsible for recruiting and supporting candidates for Workforce Development programs. The Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist will play a critical role in increasing the number of licensed early educators in MA, enabling teachers to pursue their professional development goals, and directly addressing the workforce crisis in early childhood education.

Primary Responsibilities include:

-Maintaining relationships with Program Administrators and leaders in the field of early education and care

-Recruiting candidates for all workforce training programs

-Ensure that all courses and training programs are fully enrolled

-Assisting potential candidates in determining the best program in the Workforce Development portfolio to meet their professional needs.

-Connecting candidates to the Program Coordinator with all necessary information when ready to enroll.

-Supporting participants in Workforce Development programming in meeting their professional development goals and completing trainings and coursework.

-Work with community liaisons to recruit students who speak languages other than English including Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, and Haitian Creole.

-Support Neighborhood Villages in developing databases and systems to track enrollment and participant progress

-Help develop messaging regarding workforce offerings and systems for reaching potential participants through multiple means such as social media, community outreach, and web-based postings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associate's Degree
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Demonstrated understanding the field of Early Education and Care.
  • Exceptional ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks with calm
  • Demonstrated ability to deeply know and connect with people
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong ability to work in a collaborative environment
