Job summary
The Director of Strategic Initiatives drives the organizational strategic planning process and helps achieve the strategic priorities of the President & CEO, including growth, legal strategy and risk management. This role provides invaluable exposure to our strategic vision and senior leadership's breadth and depth of work. The Director project manages a variety of strategic priorities and transformational initiatives.
What you will Do:
We seek a person who has a proven track record of program management and strategic planning. You must be able to synthesize complex information, and present the results clearly and concisely to different audiences. You should be able to take direction from both the SVP of Administration and the President & CEO.
This position will drive the organizational strategic planning process, and help achieve the strategic priorities of the President & CEO. You will project manage a variety of strategic priorities and transformational initiatives. You will guide the organization’s expansion on the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. You should also be comfortable speaking and meeting with influential people, and enrolling them in the President & CEO’s vision.
What you bring:
We want to know about your ability to manage projects: where did they start and how did you transform them? How do you translate a strategic vision into a finished project? Are you a successful problem solver who thinks critically? You must possess the ability to build relationships that affect organizational change. You must also demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. A Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressive leadership are also required.
