We are currently in search of an Administrative Coordinator for an Environmental Association. The position is based in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, temporary assignment.

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Environmental Association

LOCATION: Washington, DC

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Coordinator

DURATION: Temporary (~4-6 weeks)

SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week

HOURLY PAY: Commensurate with experience

The Administrative Coordinator will provide support to the Vice President of Development. Tasks would include making travel arrangements, managing the VP’s calendar and scheduling all meetings and appointments. This person will also assist in organizing emails, expense reconciliation and coordinating departmental meetings.  

Our Ideal Candidate:

·        Minimum 2 years of experience managing a busy executive’s calendar

·        Professional written and verbal communication skills

·        Prior experience in development a plus, but not required

·        Very organized and detail-oriented

How You Will Spend Your Day:

·        Provide administrative support to the VP of Development

o  Plan and schedule meetings as needed

o  Manage calendar and schedule travel

o  Prepare correspondence

o  Update documents as requested

·        Assist with budget process and ongoing monitoring and reconciliation of staff and departmental expenses

·        Manage the planning and coordination for department wide activities

·        Special projects as assigned
