Peak of the Market is seeking a driven, strategic, and visionary executive to lead the organization through the next steps of growth and bring their own unique strengths and leadership style to the table.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer is accountable for the overall operations of this grower-owned vegetable supplier. With over $120 million in revenue, the CEO is responsible for the successful leadership of the organization, and will be the driving force in developing a vision and strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors, and leading the Executive Team to the execution of this plan.

The CEO will be providing continued support and mentorship to the executive leadership and the organization, and will have a “customer-driven” and a “grower accountable” mindset. Additionally, the CEO will be an advocate for grower-owned vegetable suppliers, while developing new partnerships nationally and internationally as Peak of the Market continues to grow and expand.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Proven performance in a similar executive management/operational leadership role with over 10 years’ experience
• Proven experience in financial management and business administration; developing and implementing annual budgets; creating targeted sales and operational plans with an Executive Team.
• Proven strengths in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships both internally and externally with varied stakeholders to meet and surpass objectives.
• While remaining ethical and sensitive to the needs of its stakeholders, excels in developing opportunities, taking the initiative and being responsive, adaptable and creative in finding new approaches to meeting performance objectives.
• Able to motivate and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment, while answering to a Board
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to build long-term customer loyalty
• Strategic and an analytical thinker to drive new revenue and growing opportunities
• A proven leader with a solid track record for implementing change and engagement to drive success
• A Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
