Description
Family Law CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a nonprofit organization committed to providing legal advocacy to children caught in the hardships of high-conflict contested custody cases.
Reporting to and working closely with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the strategic direction of Family Law CASA (FL CASA). The ED is the chief spokesperson with a strong focus on advocacy, communications, and relationship building. The ED has ultimate responsibility for day to day management and administration, finance and operations, donor cultivation, and fund development within the policies established by the Board of Directors.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree in a related field (Social Work, Psych., Child Welfare, etc.) or a law degree is a plus
Past nonprofit leadership or management experience, or significant experience serving on a nonprofit board of directors
Understanding of, and/or experience working in, the court system
Fundraising experience
Family law experience is a plus
Business and financial acumen
Strategic planning experience
