Description

Founded in 1985, Women’s Funding Network is a membership organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls. Our 100 members are women’s foundations and other funders of gender equity. Members are located in 39 states in the U.S. and in 20 other countries. Together, we are funding programs that increase women’s economic security, improve the health of women and girls’, decrease violence, support access to education, and generally increase the leadership of women and girls.

As a global network, Women's Funding Network facilitates increased engagement and investment in solutions to critical social issues—from poverty to global security. We create opportunities for collective action and impact, host learning communities and events to share expertise and gain insight to work more strategically, and share key data about women’s philanthropy and the women’s rights movement.

Internship Description

As the Women’s Funding Network looks forward from its 30th anniversary, the organization is in an exciting time of growth as we launch several key programmatic and business initiatives. This type of growth and fast-paced environment will translate into an exciting opportunity for the Intern to have exposure to all aspects of the organization, including development, membership, communications, and programs.

WFN Interns have the opportunity to be an agent for change within the women’s funding movement and will gain valuable experience at a globally respected non-profit organization. If selected, you and your supervisor will create a schedule that works with your availability. We welcome those interested in working remotely to apply.
