The Modern Language Association (MLA) seeks a Web production intern for Fall-Winter 2018 to assist with MLA Web site development and with other select projects.
Reporting principally to the MLA’s head of online production, the Web production intern will assist staff members in the office of information systems with the organization, management, and updating of content for the MLA Web properties, including work on the association’s electronic publications. The Web production intern will contribute to regular production meetings and perform related work as needed, learning and honing HTML and XML skills through work on the MLA’s content management systems.
Candidates should possess basic HTML skills, strong organizational and writing skills, and an interest in the humanities. A knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress is a plus.
