Whether you’re a human rights advocate, an aspiring attorney or looking to gain experience with policy research, litigation, casework and evidence analysis. Our Law and Human Rights internships are customized for students, graduates and young professionals to meet specific career goals or academic requirements.

We offer law and social justice internships abroad for those who want to combine experiential learning with an overseas adventure.

Human rights violations happen on a daily basis in Ghana, and in particular to females. The problem is that, many people do not necessarily understand that what is happening to them is wrong, or they feel they will have the right or the power to do anything about their situation.

Many of the women in Ghana need to be educated in the areas of women’s rights and the empowerment of women in the community. There is considerable gender inequality and women need to be educated on how to help themselves.

    ——-Legal Support and Research Volunteers———

Volunteers will help organizations with researching and drafting reports and with the promotion of the results in an effort to improve human rights in the host country. Placements tend to be focused on gathering information regarding women, labor rights, child rights and human trafficking.

If you are interested in Human Rights work that you do not see outlined here, please use the contact us to let us know what you are looking for. Our team would be happy to work with you to see if we can find an appropriate placement for you

Volunteers do not need to have previous experience working with children or any educational background in legal matters, although either would be considered a plus. They must be mature and emotionally stable individuals who can provide a positive approach to new learning skills.
