Spend part of your winter break on Mexico's Pacific Coast collaborating with locals and finding your passion. This 2.5-week Winter Internship program is an immersive cultural and professional development experience ideal for anyone interested in the social sector or responsible travel. We treat you as a pivotal part of our team, as your job responsibilities will include things like new program design, marketing, fundraising, and communications with our community, depending on your skill set.
Through projects, personal interaction, and meetings with entrepreneurs in western Mexico, this internship gives you the analytical tools necessary to tackle the development sector's difficult questions. The hands-on experience in project areas such as small-business consulting and nonprofit management increases employability and informs your career.
If you are looking for a way to take your social sector skills to the next level, we invite you to apply for a position with Human Connections this summer. The cost of the experience is $1750, and includes hostal or homestay accommodations, 24/7 support prior to and during the program, local transportation, intensive professional trainings, 10 group meals, excursions, guided tours of local communities, project budgets, and a chance to make a direct contribution to the lives of local community members.
