The Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) is seeking an intern for its central operational headquarters in Philadelphia. You will have the opportunity to work with all FIMRC Headquarters staff; projects will rotate depending on the staff member with whom you're working at the time. As an intern you will become centrally involved in all our operations from Headquarters. Projects could include:

-Data entry related to programming from international project sites or our Global Health Volunteer Program

-Social media strategy development and brainstorming

-Research on national health statistics

-Marketing research and implementation

At the conclusion of your internship you will possess an intimate understanding of the workings of a small nonprofit organization as well as the process of recruiting and managing international volunteers. Upon successful completion of an internship with us, if interested, you would be given priority for a international volunteer placement of one week or longer through our Global Health Volunteer Program.

How To Apply

We are looking for a high school senior, college student, or recent graduate able to make a commitment of at least 10 hours per week. Dates of the internship are flexible, so please let us know your availability during the summer. Please tell us briefly about your background and interests, and how our nonprofit can benefit from your creativity, initiative, and unique talents! Priority will be given to candidates with a demonstrated record of initiative in taking on challenging projects, whether extracurricular, academic, or work related. Supplemental materials such as employer references or writing samples are welcomed. Due to limited resources, the internship will be unpaid. Please visit our website at to learn more about us.
