Description

Join the Suffering the Silence team as our Advocacy Intern for the ’18-’19 school year. The Advocacy Intern will be responsible for assisting the STS Team in the expansion and management of the #MarchingWithMe Program. Responsibilities will include research to identify marches #MarchingWithMe should have a presence at, outreach to march organizers, matching participants, and more. If you are interested in disability rights and social justice, this could be the role for you.

Benefits

This is a volunteer position without a stipend. The entire team at STS is volunteer, and we will think of this role as an expansion of our core team. This is a great opportunity to come on board with a growing organization and to get direct experience in a startup environment, while working around your school / work schedule!
