Every Body Texas seeks a Project Support Intern to provide administrative and logistical support to help project staff successfully execute deliverables for our No Wrong Door project.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, flexible, organized and excel at building relationships.

Who We Are

At Every Body Texas, we work to ensure that every person in Texas can access safe, unbiased, high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare by funding and training healthcare providers in a way that increases access for clients.

We strive to operate from a place of humility and inclusion keeping six values central to our work.

  • Dignity: Each person has the right to make their own healthcare decisions.
  • Access: There should be no barriers between people and the healthcare they want and need.
  • Facts: When provided with complete, accurate information, people can make the best healthcare decisions for themselves.
  • Equity: Each of us deserves high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare, regardless of our identity, income or circumstances.
  • Innovation: There is always a better way.
  • Quality of Care: Clients deserve the best care and providers deserve the best support.

What You’ll Do

You will be supporting our No Wrong Door project, which is funded through a grant from the St. David’s Foundation.  The No Wrong Door project aims to increase access to sexual and reproductive health services in Central Texas by helping social service providers engage clients in reproductive life goals conversations and refer them to needed sexual and reproductive health services. The project will support this aim by providing technical assistance to a small cohort of social service providers to enhance their intake and referral process, providing a one-day training on reproductive life goals counseling and referral best practices, and developing a web-based reproductive life goals counseling toolkit.

Your role in this project includes working directly with project directors and other project team members to achieve all project deliverables. Specifically, your work will center on:

  • Researching and drafting content for the project’s web-based reproductive life goals counseling toolkit for social service providers.
  • Coordinating a virtual training, including scheduling, coordinating with speakers and day of event logistics.
  • Developing positive relationships with the project cohort’s social service organizations and assisting with the coordination of support for their project implementation.
  • Additional administrative responsibilities as needed.

Who You Are + Keys to Success

To be successful in this position, you are someone who can effectively:

  • Build relationships: Able to connect with Every Body Texas project staff and cohort organizations to promote the objectives of the No Wrong Door project.
  • Be results driven: Demonstrated ability to produce and implement plans and strategies, plus ability to navigate obstacles and roadblocks.
  • Adapt: Able to work in a fast-paced environment, can adapt to situations, can prioritize multiple work assignments simultaneously and is comfortable with the uncertainty of developing new projects and processes.
  • Be detail-oriented: Able to produce high quality work, paying close attention to all the small particulars.
  • Communicate: Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and have great customer service and interpersonal skills.
