    Description

    Summary

Art in Tanzania is developing youth football, assisting in the talent development of a Football Academy jointly with its partners.

    Details

Football is the national sport in Tanzania. There is enormous potential for young, talented girls and boys. However, due to their low capacities, it is hard to produce professional football players.

The Art in Tanzania Football Development program is a joint effort with our partners, the Briessfull Stars Organisation, a group of retired top Tanzanian football professionals.

Part of the financing comes from 7Elity Academy in Utah, USA, which has branches in the UK and South Africa connected to top world football clubs.

We look for interns and volunteers to join and assist in coaching, ball, and physical training activities. Also, advocate for young players about good nutrition, hygiene, and other public health issues.

Participants can also assist in the village and school sports activities.

We use our social media pages for advocacy work, and our Facebook pages have more than 50K followers.

The internship outcome is to learn to use your studies and experience to work in developing country conditions.

Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Your program can be from 2 weeks to 12 months.

Commonly, an internship is 2-3 months long. The placement starting dates are flexible.

Academic-level team leaders supervise your internship daily.

We monitor your work with a weekly plan and report system to ensure you proceed well with your tasks.

We can take students in all year round as all programs are ongoing.

Your placement is tailored to your background, experience, and interests to empower our daily work with the communities.

The typical morning tasks include practical fieldwork in the schools and communities, and afternoons are for planning, reporting, and social media visibility functions.

The Benefits and Perks are as follows:

Accommodation with breakfast and dinner is EUR 175 per week and is a personal expense. However, the cost drops to EUR 125 weekly after the first 13 weeks.

Airport transfers from and to EUR 120 are a personal expense

Charity VISA for immigration is USD 50 and is a personal expense. A 3-6 months charity VISA is USD 250.
